How we produce resources

Adnodd’s role in creating resources

We lead and coordinate the provision of adaptable and user-friendly resources in both Welsh and English that will inspire the teaching and learning of the Curriculum for Wales.

Rather than creating resources ourselves, we engage with partners and suppliers to commission high-quality adaptable and accessible resources that address evidenced needs and gaps in provision, making the most of the expertise, capacity and creativity across Wales.

What we commission

Resources take various forms, from apps to books, short films to outdoor learning activities.

New resources are commissioned according to the priorities and needs of practitioners, learners, their families and communities. They should be adaptable, accessible and meet the needs of all learners.

How we commission resources

To ensure our commissioning processes are transparent we publish details of all commissioning rounds on our website and Sell2Wales; and give potential suppliers adequate time to plan and develop effective proposals.

We also hold regular events to engage with current and potential suppliers to share information about our requirements and priorities.

How resources are published

All digital resources we commission are available via Hwb, the Welsh Government’s digital learning platform.

We are currently working with Hwb to improve user experiences on the website and make it easier to access resources.
