Resource: Learn Welsh with Fflic a Fflac
A much-loved Welsh language resource gets a new lease of life with support from Adnodd
What is Fflic a Fflac?
Fflic a Fflac is a popular and trusted series of Welsh language resources designed to support both first and second language learners. Using a mix of multimedia, books, games, and activities, Fflic a Fflac helps learners recognise language patterns, sentence structures, and vocabulary in an engaging and accessible way.
But as digital formats evolved and CD-ROMs and DVDs became outdated, parts of the resource no longer met the needs of today’s classrooms and homes.
Revamping a classroom favourite
Practitioners across Wales told us they wanted to see Fflic a Fflac refreshed for today’s learners. That’s why Adnodd commissioned digital agency Tinint to reimagine the series for the Curriculum for Wales and bring it into the digital age.
The updated Fflic a Fflac includes:
- Content aligned with the Curriculum for Wales.
- Over 100 videos, 100+ e-books, songs, and interactive games.
- Rebuilt e-books in ePub format with audio narration.
- All content available digitally and for free.
