How do we ensure resources are truly relevant in the classroom?

As part of an exciting pilot project with BA Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) programme in Bangor University and Cardiff Metropolitan University, Adnodd invited associate teachers to be part of the quality assurance process and trial new, draft, materials and share their feedback.

Meet Lowri, a third-year associate teacher from Bangor University, as she reflects on her experience trialling a resource called 24 Hours That Changed Wales commissioned by Adnodd and developed by Atebol

Lowri offers a first-hand view of the process, the benefits for her professional development, and how it’s shaped her teaching practice. In fact, Lowri was recently appointed as a primary school teacher in the Wrexham area, where she’ll begin teaching in September.  She credits the pilot as a unique selling point in her interview for the role.

This collaboration shows how listening to future practitioners can help us create better, more relevant resources together.
