With Christmas around the corner, it's astonishing to look back at the significant development of Adnodd over the last 12 months. 2024 has been a transformative year for us, marked by continuous progress and achievements. It’s a fantastic feeling to know that we have built strong foundations and a real sense of momentum as we look forward to 2025 and the challenges and opportunities ahead.
Adnodd has appointed Kirsty Davies as our new Director of Corporate Services. Kirsty will oversee the effective delivery of Adnodd's corporate functions as part of our mission to deliver high-quality bilingual resources that support the Curriculum for Wales.
Adnodd recently welcomed two new members to our board: Natalie Jones and Mair Gwynant. Their expertise and dedication to Welsh education and governance will play a key role in advancing our mission to deliver high-quality, bilingual resources for the Curriculum for Wales.
At the 2024 National Eisteddfod in Pontypridd, Adnodd and its partners announced a funding boost of £560,000 for additional teaching and learning materials to support the rollout of brand new Curriculum for Wales GCSEs.
To help us shape our approach, earlier this year we commissioned an in-depth research study to gather insights from key stakeholders regarding our commissioning and quality assurance processes.
